My favorite public place is the beach in my community because it can heal me and calm me down when I have stress. I can sit there and relax without worrying about organizing my thought, and no one will bother me.

A community shaped by my favorite public space because everyone has their favorite place, and it’s always that same place. My place is at the beach that’s my community shaped. It is close to my house. When I’m feeling stress or sad, I always go there and sit for 30 min or an hour to clear out my thought.
What public spaces or businesses create pride and belonging?
Beach creates pride and belonging because I like to go there a lot, and it is my favorite place to go. When you sit there, and the ocean waves, the sound, the cloud, and the wind make you feel safe, telling you everything will be okay. Sitting there listening to music it is the best feeling, and that place is belonging to me.
